This is one of my most favorite songs from coldplay. Honestly, I don't think this song is about anything at all. At the same time, I'm sure this song is everything I've ever wanted to say and couldn't. I think it refers to the need we all have to feel like we don't need love. To tell ourselves that logic and reason can keep us from getting broken, and the struggle with understanding that we, too are powerless to it's madness. This song means absolutely nothing, its simply a jumble of words until it touches your soul. It has no meaning unless you see one. :/ have you seen yours?
