MY MAN. *winks

When I read my friend’s blog-  http://sholazamayla.blogspot.com/,  I was kinda inspired to also share to you guys about MY MAN.

When I was still in grade 2 that was the first time I had a crush on someone. I didn’t really know what “crush” means since my classmates only told me that they have a crush with the tallest boy in the room, Ralph. *HAHAHAHA. They were telling me that they will confess to him by giving that boy a letter. Out of curiosity, I asked them what to write on a letter. They just told me “Isulat lang nga ganahan ka sa iya” (Isulat mo lang na gusto mo siya). So when I went home, I immediately used my stationary to write a letter for him. I actually cannot remember what I wrote but one thing’s for sure, I draw a house with his name on the roof, windows, and doors. HAHAHA. Just to make this short, my mom caught me and told me not to give that letter but I still did and she got mad but up to now, she still teases me for that silly thing I did.

I grew up with different friends and some of them are children of a SEA MAN. (I now know some of you are thinking of somebody already, aren’t you? *smile Before, I wished my dad was a SEA MAN so he could give me loads of chocolates and the usual thought that they really have a big income compared to those who work here but since my dad wasn’t a sea man, I told myself to marry one, SOMEDAY.

When I reached High School, of course, I already understood the life of a SEA MAN and the most basic is that –THEY LIVE FAR FROM THEIR LOVED ONES. So then, I changed my mind not to marry a SEA MAN since I don’t wanna be left behind. I remember I told some of my friends, “Pramis, dili gyud ko maka gusto ug nautical maskin pag unsa na ka gwapo or bryt!” (Pramis, hindi talaga ako magkakagusto sa isang nautical kahit gaano pa siya ka gwapo at matalino).  Until one day.. *mouth shut.

Now that I’m 4th year college already, I somehow understand that sometimes, you really don’t have to make a list of the qualities you want for your partner that he must be tall, dark, and handsome. That he can save you like Superman saved Louise Lane. Personally, what matters is always the good character he has but frankly speaking, I am more into guys who are smart and who has a direction in life. To sum this up, My man in the future will understand me even if I’m the hardest person to understand in the world. My man will love me for who I am. My man will love God more than he loves me.  My man will respect my decision. My man will tolerate my crying over movies. My man will value my principles and beliefs in life. My Man will never leave me. My man, whoever he may be, will grow old with me and will love me unconditionally. *smile

*My Man, will sing this for me <3 :)
